Just another lost, old soul ✖️
Funny how she keeps on telling everyone that life is just a balance of holding on and letting go, when she lost that balance herself.
Truth is, she is sad. Because although her number of friends were growing, she knew none of them were permanent.
She is sad because she missed the people who taught her friendships don’t always have to involve dramas nor girl clichés.
She is sad because she can see them having fun without a care in the world and she used to be part of it.
She is sad because life just went on for them without her whilst she dreads to be welcomed again.
She is sad.
But she has accepted the fact that they’re not the same people anymore. They have changed. And so has she.
There are some people we have to let go of. And she knows life will never be the same again without them. But the possibilities of her being happier and better off with others are endless.
Good riddance, old friends.
"Don’t do that. Don’t skip stages in your life. You’re 19, kiss a few boys and wear your heart on your sleeve. There will come a time when you’re 39 and stuck in a suit, wondering why the hell you were so eager to grow up in the first place."-note to self (via avenue)
